This is your chance to buy hard- to-find plants from our trial program and
unique plants we use in our seasonal displays!
You will be able to purchase some of the best plants for our area
including a wide range of unusual & unique plant material adapted to the
Metroplex and tested at our gardens. Take advantage of the exclusive
Members' Preview on Friday night, April 18. You'll have the first look at
everything available, so come have a glass of wine and shop for
spectacular plants at sunset.

There is truly something for every garden so don't miss this once a
year event.
Don't miss this unique chance to purchase the plants we promote! We test
thousands of plants each year, searching for the best plants for our
unique north Texas climate. The best of these plants are promoted by the
Dallas Arboretum to home gardeners, retail nurseries, and local growers
and are available one weekend only at our annual plant sale.

LoneStar Greats: Tough Texas Plants

Register for this class and come to the plant sale a
day early!
A must for anyone who gardens in Texas! Jimmy Turner, Director of
Horticulture Research, will share results from all of his hard work in the
Trial Garden and give insight on how to incorporate top plants into North
Texas residential landscapes. Upon conclusion of the seminar, class
participants are invited to attend the plant sale preview where
recommended plants can be purchased before the sale is open to the general
public Right after class, purchase plants for your garden that have been
tested at the Arboretum. The sale will have unique plants and hard to find
varieties not available at many local nurseries. Don't miss this
opportunity to learn about and purchase plants that will make your garden
the talk of the neighborhood.
"In addition to gaining valuable insight from our research and trial
program, this class gives people who are not members of the Arboretum the
exclusive opportunity to attend the Plant Sale preview," said Maria
Conroy, Vice President of Education at the Dallas Arboretum.

Cost is $22, or $20 for members of the Arboretum, and includes admission
and parking. Lone Star Greats: Tough Texas Plants takes place at 4 p.m. in
Rosine Hall, just inside the Arboretum entrance, and the plant sale
preview begins at 5:30 p.m. in the main parking lot
